Téréva, a specialist in the distribution of products to professionals in the technical finishing works of the building (sanitary, plumbing, HVAC, etc.), has announced the acquisition of NED (Nouvelles Energies Distribution), a distributor of residential solar products.

Through this operation, Téréva thus accelerates its diversification towards renewable energies and becomes the majority shareholder of NED, which until now was held by Jérôme Rouch, its president and founder, and the investment fund Alter Equity. As Managing Director, Jérôme Rouch will continue to direct the development of NED and will remain a shareholder for the next few years. Founded in 2013 in Chaponost in the Lyon region, NED has an annual turnover of 42 million euros and employs 51 employees located in 3 locations: Lyon, La Roche-sur-Yon and Castries (near Montpellier). It has a storage capacity of 5,500 m², which will be complemented by Téréva’s logistics platforms.

“Whatever scenarios are chosen to achieve climate neutrality in 2050, the production of photovoltaic electricity will experience a huge boom with an increase of at least seven of the current installed capacity, justifies Téréva, a 100% subsidiary of the family group. Martin Belaysoud, in a press release. With NED (Nouvelles Energies Distribution), we are a major player in this ambition with the desire to address both the residential and tertiary markets”.

The aim is therefore to take advantage of the complementarity of the two companies and offer heating engineers and electricians a simplified turnkey photovoltaic offer to enable them to meet the increasing demand of their individual customers for self-consumption solutions. Thus, NED has, for example, software for technical studies that enables dimensioning and costing of solutions, and facilitates and prepares the work of installers.
